Here are pictures of the downstairs bathroom, including a close-up of the vintage (1920s-30s) light fixture on the ceiling. The tub will go at the end of the room as you look through the door, but it isn't ready yet.

The stairs were built last week but have yet to be stained. They are red oak. Also, here is a close-up of one of the sconces on the wall above the stairs.

Our butcher block countertops have been installed, and we're in the process of treating them with coats of tung oil. They are maple, and we're using a mixture of 100% pure tung oil along with a little bit of dark raw tung oil to darken them slightly, thinned with citrus solvent. One picture shows where the sink will be, and the other one will have the stove at the front end. The beadboard on the wall will be painted like the cabinets.
Here's also a picture of the pantry with painted shelves. There's a little junk being stored in there.

Most of the interior doors are stained. Here's a picture of one, plus a close-up of the porcelain door knob.

We have made quite a bit more progress on the house, but there are still lots of little things to finish. We have built-in bookshelves in the two front rooms. Here are some pictures of them, as well as one of the inside of the front door and one looking across the front hall from one room to the other.
