July 13: Roofing started. Shingles are on the back part of the house and the porch on the south side. The porch roof is framed about 3/4 around. Here are some pictures of the house showing the porch and a close-up of the shingles. They are "weathered wood" color.

I love your house!!! We are starting a build in the country - hopefully this spring.
I would love to see your floor plan though. All the house plans I've looked at seem to forget to add a mudroom in the back. I really don't want to walk into the kitchen with my boots on after being out in the pasture.
